DesignFlow was formed as part of the School of Marine Science and Engineering at Plymouth University to supplement the university’s strong industrial links through the provision of a high quality engineering analysis, design and CFD consultancy service.
Our team is founded on the experience of Adam Kyte who took up his post at the university 5 years ago after an 18 year career in industry spanning engineering design and the specialist field of industrial Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Adam formed DesignFlow with Chris Pass, a Plymouth Mechanical Engineering graduate, in Spring 2013 and in response to the demand for our services during our first year, we were joined by Matt Sharman in July 2014.
Adam's extensive experience as both a design engineer and industrial CFD consultant adds a holistic approach to engineering design and analysis. Learn more about Adam and his experience.
Practical engineering skills developed through Chris’s experience as an RAF aircraft technician combine with his theoretical knowledge to underpin his CFD and analysis work. Learn more about Chris and his experience.
With previous experience in programming, electronics manufacturing and computer aided design, Matthew was brought into DesignFlow on the back of outstanding undergraduate performance. Learn more about Matthew and his experience.
Dr. Richard Pemberton
With experience in naval architecture, marine technology and industrial aerodynamics, Richard's wealth of knowledge provides a great foundation to engineering design and CFD projects. Learn more about Richard and his experience.
