During his career, Matthew has thrown himself into a wide range of industries with experience working in companies designing products from heavy construction equipment to fire and security electronics.  This experience has helped Matt develop a flexible and diverse approach to engineering design, problem solving and innovation, something that has helped drive high academic performance throughout his MEng Mechanical Engineering degree.

Matthew's broad education has equipped him with a wide range of skills from graphical design and computer programming to lean manufacturing and product design. As a result he has been involved with a variety of projects at DesignFlow from creating bespoke software and analysis tools to 3D product design and concept development.

Matthew's approach to commercial work has also been influenced through his research into wave energy converters, numerical modelling of arterial blood flow and aerodynamic vehicle design.
